The Session of Third Church is calling a congregational meeting for Sunday, May 15, at 12:15 p.m. in the Sanctuary of the church. The business of the meeting will be for the Nominating Committee and Session to present the following agenda:
To elect Andy Burgess to serve as Governing Elder to fill the open seat for the class of 2024;
To authorize the Session to secure a Construction Financing Loan for the Renew Project;
To hear updates on the Renew project and the transition location.
The meeting will be held immediately following the 11:00 a.m. service in the Sanctuary and also live-streamed so anyone can participate remotely (live.thirdrva.org). There will be an opportunity to vote by hand in the room, and also to vote electronically on a smartphone, computer, or tablet, both for those in the room and those who are remote. If you would like to vote digitally, please make sure you have a device with you during the meeting.
