Together for Tanzania

The mission of Together for Tanzania (TFT) is to break the cycle of poverty in Tanzania through education. TFT works to improve educational opportunities for the poorest children in the eastern areas of Tanzania, from the northern arid lands of the Maasai to the rural southern agricultural areas. Their most significant accomplishment continues to be the education of students, preschool through master’s programs. Having funded the education of so many of these men and women since they were young, TFT is now witnessing the fruits of their labor as some now serve as TFT leaders and mentors. TFT's ministry is also focused in the very southern area of Tanzania.

Since 2016, with the purchase of land for Save Life English Medium School (SLEMS), Together for Tanzania has played a major role in the construction and development of this school, now rated third in all of Tanzania. Having completed classrooms for the primary school, TFT has funded construction of the first classroom for the secondary level. In time, the secondary school will include a laboratory, library and classrooms to accommodate, at least, Forms 1-4. A dormitory houses 120 students, including 50 orphans. Currently, over 520 students attend SLEMS.
