Since 1982 the Pregnancy Resource Center of Metro Richmond has provided compassionate care and practical resources to over 38,000 women and men, from all walks of life in the greater RVA community, who are unprepared for pregnancy. PRC provides professional limited medical services such as pregnancy tests and ultrasounds to confirm pregnancy. Their goal as a life-affirming safe haven is to be respectful and caring as they listen to those they serve, and to provide resourceful help including option counseling, parenting classes, moms support groups, mentoring and material services. No one wants to face a pregnancy alone and unsupported. In fact, many women who have made a decision they later regret to end a pregnancy said they would have carried their baby to term if they’d had support. PRC walks alongside them for the first year of their baby's life.
