Donald Marsden

Frontier Fellowship

Donald Marsden is an associate director of Frontier Fellowship. Frontier Fellowship’s mission is to mobilize congregations to participate with God in bringing good news of the kingdom into cultures where the church has yet to take root. His ministry involves mobilizing persons and churches to come alongside those working in Central Asia, Niger and Russia among the Muslim and other unreached peoples of those countries. He views himself mainly as a relationship broker and advocate for unreached peoples, introducing his friends in the U.S. to his believing friends who minister among the unreached communities in those nations. In addition, he has created a ministry called Me and My House in Mission to teach about the mission of the family and to train families and households in practicing missional habits.

From 1989 to 1997 Donald was a pastor at Third Church, and from 1997 to 2008 he and his family served as missionaries in Russia. Donald's wife Laurie is a covenant partner of Third, active in women’s groups and in Sunday morning discipleship groups. The Marsdens have three grown children and five grandchildren.
