Sharing the Gospel through media

Al Massira means “The Journey,” in Arabic. Through a thirteen-session, film-based course, Al Massira takes Muslim background participants from all around the world on a journey with Old Testament Prophets to discover the Messiah. Since Al Massira was released in 2011, it has been translated into more than 50 languages. More than 23,000 people have been trained to lead groups in nearly a hundred nations, and it is estimated that over 130,000 people have participated in these groups. Through these courses, thousands have come to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and begun to follow Him in local communities of believers.

Out of these, around thirty groups meet regularly to watch biblical films, discuss key themes, and learn the foundations of faith in our Lord. Many Al Massira participants have gone on to start new prayer groups, house fellowships, and discovery groups in their communities."

Third at work: Third Church gives annual operating support to Al Massira. We have also invested in the development of the Al Massira app, through which resources are shared; in a branding project; and toward translation work on Journey Together, a second series of resources.
