Describe your primary responsibilities at Third: I oversee Third’s ministries working with Elisabeth and Rick and their teams. I also provide pastoral care, teach, and mentor regularly.
What are your favorite books? I greatly enjoy the writing of C.S. Lewis and Tim Keller and reread a short essay by Lewis “The Weight of Glory” each year since it so excellently captures the Biblical view on life.
What is your favorite thing to do in Richmond? I greatly enjoy sampling Richmond’s restaurants and spending time with my family, especially my granddaughters.
Tell us about your family: I have two grown, married daughters; Laura who trains horses and riders in Dressage and cares for my oldest granddaughter Mihaela in Dallas. Anna lives in Midlothian and is a manager for Learning and Development for a company who provides software for law firms. She has two daughters, Ava and Aubrey. My mother Barbara and sister Margie are both covenant partners at Third. My sister Susan lives in Mechanicsville.
Why are you excited to be a part of Third Church? It will be exciting to be a part of what God is doing as I believe Third is poised to make increasing impact in bringing the Gospel of Christ and the wholeness He brings to our neighbors, our work associates, and around the world.
