The Brother Karamazov (Dostoevsky), Gilead (Robinson), The Gospel in a Pluralist Society (Newbigin), Divided By Faith (Smith and Emerson), In the Name of Jesus (Nouwen). Also Calvin and Hobbes.

My wife Sarah and I have four wonderful girls. Sarah is from Nashville and is a public school teacher. I grew up in Chicago (hence my loyalty to the Cubs) and later moved to Chattanooga, TN. Sarah and I met at UVA. We’ve lived in Richmond since 2005.
