Real Sex: God's Design for Sex and Why It Matters

This 5-week class is co-taught by Corey Widmer and Charles Teixeira (Pastoral Intern, Third Church and X3Leader, XXXChurch). The series presents God’s original intention for sex in a generation whose sexual expression largely disregards any religious influence. The course pays particular attention to areas of hurts and struggles in need of pastoral care and guidance: pornography, pre-marital sex, homosexuality, transgenderism, masturbation, sex and singleness, and sex in marriage. The class is a frank discussion of the issues with opportunities for open conversation. The event is intended for adults (18 or older).

Can We Talk: How Does an Ancient Book Guide Modern Life?

In different times and different places Christians have used a variety of reading strategies to interpret and apply Scripture for their time and place.  The purpose of this fellowship class is to develop a reading strategy that is both faithful to the Book and applicable to the complexity of our 21st Century lives.
