Take advantage of tax-free weekend (August 4-6) to fill a backpack with school supplies for our sister church, who meets in our building on Sunday evenings. The Christian Arabic Church uses these backpacks as an outreach tool, giving them to new immigrant families in the area. Be a blessing to our community and give a backpack to help families who live right in our area. Then, bring your backpack to the picnic!
If you cannot attend the picnic, bring your filled backpacks any Sunday in August and put them in the bins under the steps in the entrance coming in from the playground by August 20th.
