Grief Care Group

  • Third Church 600 Forest Ave Richmond, VA 23229 USA (map)

Grief can be confusing, isolating, debilitating and all consuming.

Support groups are a one way to help people in their grief journey.  Each grief experience is unique.  Many people find comfort in the companionship of group support and knowing they are not alone in their experiences.

Groups provide a safe space to reflect on our grief and support one another.  Groups can offer perspective on the physical, emotional, and spiritual experience of grief.  Often it’s a needed break from the isolation grief can cause.  Listening to stories of how others cope with a particular problem or situation can offer new insights.  And sharing with others who understand loss can provide hope and comfort.
