We’re organizing a Children’s Choir for 2nd - 4th Graders!

We are excited to offer the opportunity for our children in grades 2nd, 3rd and 4th to help lead worship and use their musical gifts as a Children’s Choir this fall.

The Children's Choir will have six rehearsals on Wednesday nights from 6:45-7:45 (listed below) in the Library, Room 204, and will sing in worship on Sunday, November 15 during the 9:30 and 11:00 services.

Rehearsal Schedule:

• Wednesday, November 4

• Wednesday, November 11

Our covenant partner, Kimly Schlabach is going to direct the children this fall. Kimly has decades of experience as a retired Choral/Handbell Director at Thomas Harrison Middle School in Harrisonburg, VA. Additionally, she served on the music ministry staff at First Presbyterian Church in Harrisonburg. Since retirement, she has lived in RVA for 6 years and has directed several of our children’s choirs, plus our Vacation Bible School music program.

We need at least 12 participants to make this happen! Please sign up by October 1.
