We’re organizing a Children’s Choir for 2nd - 4th Graders!

We are excited to offer a fun opportunity for our kids to help lead worship and use their musical gifts! This fall Third is offering our 2nd-4th graders the opportunity to sing in a Children's Choir.

The Children's Choir will have six rehearsals on Wednesday nights from 6:15-7 (listed below) in the Library (Room 204) and will sing in worship on Sunday, November 23 during the 9:30 and 11 services.

Rehearsal Schedule:

• Wednesday, November 5

• Wednesday, November 12

• Wednesday, November 19

Our covenant partner, Kimly Schlabach is going to direct the children this Fall. Kimly comes to Third with decades of experience as a retired Choral/Handbell Director at Thomas Harrison Middle School in Harrisonburg, VA. Additionally, she served on the music ministry staff at First Presbyterian Church in Harrisonburg. Since retirement, she and her husband have lived in RVA for 5 years and are Covenant Partners here at Third Church. Kids at Third may remember Mrs. Kim through her music work during Vacation Bible School.
