CARITAS

A refuge for those in need

CARITAS is Richmond’s active community of caring for people experiencing homelessness and/or substance use disorder. It provides a safe space for healing and recovery, and the support to rebuild and renew their lives. By providing strategic resources, CARITAS addresses the critical needs of the chronically homeless, and affects sustainable change in the life of all program participants. This includes substance use disorder counseling, workforce development, and housing assistance in a supportive environment.
