Describe your primary responsibilities at Third: As the Director of Technology and Production, I get to work with the worship staff to produce Sunday services, the communications staff to produce videos and stories of our congregation, and the staff at large to produce events at Third. I also support our IT services through managing outsourced IT partners, providing help desk support to our staff, and stewarding out hardware and software.

What are your favorite books? Brandon Sanderson, Stormlight Archive | John Steinbeck, East of Eden | Orson Scott Card, Speaker for the Dead | Marisel Vera, The Taste of Sugar | Colson Whitehead, Nickel Boys

What is your favorite thing about Richmond? The food and the folks. Lots of good eats, lots of good fellowship.

Tell us about your family: I’ve got a sister in Nashville, and a brother in Little Rock, where I was born and raised. I moved here in 2018, and live with my overwhelmingly-kind, beautiful wife Maribelle, and our lil puppy Stella.

What do you like to do for fun? I am obsessed with the art of television — stop me to talk about it sometime on a Sunday morning. I love a good book, a good beer, a good cup of coffee. I play a lot of disc golf these days, and I’ve recently snagged a membership to the climbing gym. Add a long drive in my ‘97 4runner and you’ll find a concretely granola young man.

Why are you excited to be a part of Third Church? I’ve come to know and love this community and I’ve been loved so well by the folks in the covenant community here. I’m excited and honored to be a part of this story, and to be a part of telling your stories.
