One of the very best ways to get involved is to engage in one of our many serving opportunities - whether it be the Hospitality Team, Wednesday night Arabic Student Tutoring, or Jobs for Life, just to name a few. How will you pitch in to the work of serving one another and loving our neighbors? Check out some of our opportunities here:

These teams help our church run! Such a simple way to be a part of fabric of the church, on Sunday mornings or on a more flexible-as-needed basis.

HOSPITALITY TEAM: Ushers, Greeters, Coffee Team
There may be no better way to meet people at Third than by
volunteering to serve during Sunday mornings. It is an easy way to get engaged— plus it’s filled with coffee!

We are looking for folks interested in greeting all the many faces that walk through our doors, usher them through the serivces, and set up and refill all the coffee and refreshments outside. Love hospitality or serving your church family? Get in touch with Robert Luck.

Have an interest in tech and looking for a way to plug in on Sunday mornings? We’re actively looking for folks to serve as part of a growing tech team, making sure everything runs smoothly and sounds great in the Sanctuary. No experience necessary— just be teachable! To sign up, contact Alex Sawyer.

Adele Calhoun said, “Hospitality is creating emotionally safe
spaces for others.” Come and practice this hospitality with the
funeral reception team. Volunteers are needed throughout the
year to help with luncheon receptions following funerals. What a practical way of loving and serving each other at Third, and the families appreciate it so much. To sign up, contact Monica Murphy.

These programs are a central part of our life together and are very much poured out from the heart and passion of our people who are following the call to love our neighbors well.

Jobs for Life is our 12-week relationally based job-preparedness ministry, and it takes a lot of hard work to host. A large variety of roles are needed! See more here.

For this program, tutors are matched with a student, and each Wednesday evening, they meet together and tutors help their students with their homework. We continually find ourselves with more students than tutors, so your help is very much needed! No experience necessary! To help out, contact Andi Redmond.

A new ministry at Third aimed at captivating hearts and building community to respond to God's call to care for orphans, foster children, and their families. If you would like to learn more about this ministry and how you can be involved, visit the Forgotten No More homepage.
