The Whole World
This Sunday is a very special Sunday as we will be welcoming Pastor Samuel Adel, pastor of El Sharabia Presbyterian Church in Cairo, Egypt. Third Church, along with the Christian Arabic Church, are sister congregations with El Sharabia, and last spring a group of us from Third and CAC were able to travel to to Cairo to spend a week with Pastor Samuel and his congregation. It was a delightful visit and we are so thankful to be able to welcome them to Third.
This Sunday Pastor Fakhri of the CAC will be preaching a brief message on Jesus' commission to bring the gospel to all creation. He'll reflect on the importance of remaining linked to the global church. We'll also hear from Pastor Samuel and celebrate communion together. It will be a rich time of community and we hope you will join us!
