Contemplate. Consider. Commend.
Contemplate the Cross is Third Church’s invitation to personal reflection and prayer on Good Friday. Following the worship service and luncheon, the sanctuary will be open from 1:00 -7:00 p.m. for a time of guided personal prayer to contemplate, consider and commend Jesus' work on the cross.
Artists' images of the crucifixion will be screened overhead and sacred music will play in the background--a familiar slice of former Journeys to the Cross, but with a guide for praying individually, as a family and in community.
