East End Fellowship
Pastor Donald L. Coleman has over twenty-five years of urban ministry experience in Richmond. Don has been married to Florence for more than thirty years and they have raised daughters Selah and Shekinah, who is married to Demetrius Mitchell. Don presently serves as lead pastor of East End Fellowship (which he co-founded with Rev. Corey Widmer), a multi-ethnic, economically diverse community in the East End of Richmond which seeks God’s joy and justice for their neighborhood out of love for Christ. Don presently spends hours weekly with young adults, mostly in his home or on his front porch, affirming the organic, familial nature of disciple making.
Don has also worked for numerous years for the spirit of reconciliation to impact his city, serving on various boards and initiatives that promote the functional unity of the body of Christ. As a mature urban missionary, Pastor Don has lent his wisdom to numerous Christian ministries making a difference in Richmond: BlessRVA, Richmond Christian Leadership Initiative, Urban Hope, Richmond Christian Study Center and Church Hill Activities and Tutoring, where he is currently chairman of the board.
Recently, Don has also served by speaking at various conferences and equipping events such as Missio-Alliance, Ecclesia Church Planters trainings, Fresh Expressions Amore Conference, Iron Sharpens Iron men’s conferences, and Christian Community Development Association (CCDA) conferences.
Don’s life motto is: Serving others into their greatness!
