How are you serving at Third?

Trustee, singing in adult choir

Where do you see God moving in Third?

Raising up more disciples to have a passion for Christ.

What are your spiritual gifts?

Mercy, healing, faith, and hospitality.

Tell us about your hobbies and family

Hobbies include cooking, bike trips, time with friends, and reading.  Family consists of two adult sons, two daughters-in-law and two grandsons, and one granddaughter just born in August 2014.  I have "adopted" my office partner and her two sons, with whom I spend a lot of "family time."

If you were a Superhero, which one would you be, and why?

Captain America, because he came from an era when values of justice and helping others was emphasized and he has powers of strength and endurance in the service of doing good works, and is not swayed by the manipulations of others, but remains true to his own values.

What famous person are you most likely to be mistaken for?

I have been told I resemble Connie Francis, a 1950s pop singer, in appearance when I was in my youth.  I resemble, probably, Florence Nightingale as I became a psychiatric nurse 45 years ago when the field was very new.

If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life what would it be?

That's easy - chocolate!
