Elizabeth Conner

Deacon

Class of 2016

Service: Hospitality, Comfort

How are you serving at Third?

I'm a new deacon serving on the hospitality and care committees.  I am "learning" to knit and enjoy being a part of the Kingdom Knitters.

Where do you see God moving in Third?

First and foremost, I see God moving in the preaching and teaching at Third.  I am also inspired and humbled by those in the body who clearly are using their unique gifts and calling to support God's people by meeting His children where they are; e.g. via CHAT, through worship music, and Bible studies.

What are your spiritual gifts?

My gift of administration is the one that is most likely to be evident.  The gift of discernment is, however, the one I most struggle to strengthen and apply as the Lord would have me.

Tell us about your hobbies and family

I'm most at home outdoors, surrounded by God's beautiful creation.  Because I've never been married and have no children of my own, I'm devoted to my pet(s) and close family members and spend as much time with them as possible.  I consider myself a dilettante and am never at a loss for hobbies.  Top of that list would likely be reading, needlework, gardening & paddling.
