With a sermon titled "Transformation & Our Relationship with God," Steve Hartman began the new season at Third Church with a new sermon series on Romans 12-13: Transformed Relationships. You'll be able to download or hear it online this week, and Corey Widmer continues the series this coming Sunday. Check out the This Sunday page each Wednesday for a preview and meditation guide for the upcoming services.
We also launched a new slate of adult classes during our Christian Education hour from 10:15-11:15, with offerings geared to build community and deepen our understanding and practice of living as followers of Christ. Continuing many beloved offerings like Good News and Metamorphosis, while adding new teachers and topics to the mix with the Reveal, Fusion and Praxis classes, we're excited to be moving forward with our long-standing commitment to discipleship on Sunday as well as throughout the week.
Our Family Ministry to children and their parents also featured a mix of familiar and new faces among our teachers and students, and it was exciting to see so many families worshipping together in all three services.
And finally, Third's Student Ministry got off to a sugar-feuled start Sunday nightwith the annual Holely Sundae and Gutter Sundae events for Middle and High-schoolers. Check out Student Ministry Facebook page for more details and photos!
